    LM8500 Wall Controller Failure.

Well I spoke too soon. One of mine opened up this morning. Called and they will send out a replacement with the 888. From what he said the ones manufactured after August 2018 are fine. I know there are others that have been told multiple different dates so we’ll see. Sent from my iPhone using...

    LM8500 Wall Controller Failure.

So what’s the consensus on the models? Or does it not matter and it comes down to luck with these wall controls? I’m wanting to get a wall mount 8500W but I don’t want to deal with potential issues. I have 3 chain drive (can’t remember model) that came with the house over a year ago and we...

    LED T8's/T12's

If I replace a fluorescent with an LED T8/T12, will I get as much light in my garage as the fluorescent? The LED tubes are only lit up on the bottom versus all the way around on a traditional T8. I was just wondering if the LED would light up the garage as much. Thanks.

How to find low spots in garage floor?

Kind of thinking the same thing, didn't know if there was another option. Thanks. djjsr, hadn't gotten that far yet. LOL I'll keep researching to see what others are saying is best. I saw someone on here that did a VCT floor and sealed it. Looked amazing, I wrote down everything he used and I...

How to find low spots in garage floor?

I am wanting to lay VCT down on my garage floor but wanted to make it level. For the most part, it is pretty level but I know there are some low spots. How do you go about finding where the low spots are to level them? When looking at the floor, you can't tell where they are. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Space between floor and drywall

What are you guys doing with this space? I am wanting to put down VCT and want to go up on the side of the concrete but that leaves me with a gap between the concrete and the drywall.

    Textured walls yes/no?

Hadn't really looked at any type of texture yet, just wanted to know pros and cons. My girlfriend said to do it, cause like you said, it will hide the scrapes more than non textured. I like the clean flat look though and from what some people have been saying here, I will just go with out...

Gary, I am not. Our house has an attached 2 car garage that I will be painting as soon as I fix all the nail and hook holes from the previous owner. I will post up picks once I get that done and begin redoing everything. Thanks for everyones help on this, I will not be going the textured route...
