    Show your new tool arrivals

If you want scissors go to Home Depot and pick up the Leatherman Wingman. For the past few years they've sold them during the holidays for $20-25 depending on which store you're in. The Wingman is identical to the Sidekick except it has scissors instead of the saw.

13 useful tools you should only buy cheap

I have that exact set of aluminum jack stands and they're actually very nice. They're only used for light duty though. Things like supporting drive train components during dis-assembly/re-assembly. If I remember correctly there's a warning label on the stands with something to the effect of not...

    Harbor Freight Autel DS708!?!?

I know the reply is a little late, but obsolete as in it's no longer the latest and greatest tool Autel offers and is not likely to have any continued support for very much longer.

    Harbor Freight Autel DS708!?!?

Likely it will. I believe it's now an obsolete model. The questions I have is Harbor Freight an authorized seller and will Autel still provide support and updates.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

I just checked these out in the store and you are right. You really have to get on that button to release. But if you give the clamp a squeeze while pressing the button it suddenly becomes much easier to press.

Tool to measure rotor thickness w/ wheel on?

I understand why you wouldn't want to pay a shop to replace brakes on an S5. It can cost somewhere in the $1200 range just for the front at the dealer. The reason why the rotors would be quoted even if they're within spec is for a couple of reasons. One, Audi does not approve of or in any way...

    Got a "Husky" Wrench Set

Which electronic products exactly would you be talking about? American made consumer electronics are virtually non-existent. So imported electronics are better by default.

Truckin magazine screwdriver and tool cart tests

I have both the HF screwdrivers and the black HF roll cart. They have both been in use at a Nissan dealer for 4 years. The screwdrivers have got to be the best bargain on the planet. Paid 8 bucks for them, use them daily, the tips are stronger than a set of Instinct handled Snap-ons. They're...

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

Can you quantify all of that? Some of your fails I would consider a pass and vice versa for the passes.

Anyone have one of those Craftsman bottle openers?

I have that one too. It just doesn't compare to either of the Craftsman versions.

Anyone have one of those Craftsman bottle openers?

I have both versions of the Craftsman bottle openers. They both are by far the best bottle openers I have ever used. And made in USA :).

    COO check Streamlight flashlights

The LED Stinger I bought over a year ago says Assembled In USA. The light assembly it's self is the only part assembled here. The batteries were made in France and the charger is made in China. I've seen others with batteries made in Mexico.

    Cutting Titanium

Has anyone ever had to cut titanium tubing? I just installed a Mines exhaust system that is made of 3.5" titanium on a Nissan GT-R and now the customer doesn't like the tips. He wants me to cut the originals off and clamp on a different style. Will a chain style tubing cutter work?
