    Show us your welding projects

Did more work on my Porsche exhaust. 2 resonators installed to bring the noise down because the drone and raspy note are overwhelming. I’m not the best at welding but the welds are strong. Last thing to do is to install on the car to get the tips aligned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here is a small bandsaw table I built out of some flat stock I had laying around. Works quite well and I used it extensively on my exhaust project. I love the Milwaukee portable bandsaw!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wanted to share my exhaust project for my Porsche 911 turbo. Been about 12 years since I last tig welded. It was a lot of fun to work on this project. Exhaust is really loud and I have taken it back off the car to add some resonators on to bring down the raspy sound. Hats off to some...

Home/Garage build - security camera prewire?

I️ agree with themiller. POE camera setup is the best way to go. I️ would personally run Cat6 cable. A bit overkill but good for anything in the future. I️ would also run some speaker cables and in roof/wall speakers while you are at it. I️ have a Lorex UHD 6 camera kit that I’m using at my...

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT bluehatchy's garage build: 880sqft 4-car garage with lift, flooring, and storage

Awesome garage and I love the cars! You guys have built something amazing and should be very proud. I would love to have a garage like that. Any plans for a TV/internet and sound? I used to have a 91 EF that I spent way too much money on. Was the weekend routine: working on cars with old...

So I have had my MaxJax for over a year now and absolutely love it. I routinely check the torque of the anchors and grease up the slides. Yesterday I noticed that my car was going up crooked. I have not had any leaks but the left side is about an inch or so higher on a consistent basis. I have...

Hi realien, Take a look at my setup. I used the factory equipment and just got 1 long hose to connect the pump unit to the diverter valve. It looks like you have space above the garage door to install. It keeps the costs down and allowed me to install the pump unit on the wall and out of the...

No, there is definitely something wrong. It should stay up at the height you raise it to. There is the little box attached to the cart which splits the fluid to the two separate cylinders. Do you hear the fluid moving through it? Any funny noises? Sounds like the diverter valve or the fluid...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm quite sure the MaxJax is symmetrical.

This how I lift my car with the weight bias kept in mind. Posts are 130" apart. Posts are level. My garage floor is sloped by about 3 degrees. Arms are level to each other in both directions. I don't have pics showing the level. How far apart are your posts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is what I mean. Too close for my comfort. It touches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the quick response sidwin. I too have a 997 turbo. Do you have some pics of your car on the lift? Does the arms hit the body of your car? It touches in my case. Maybe I can use your idea and then put the pucks on top of the factory lift pads to give it more clearance. Thank you...
