    Big Williams

Um yeah, it's my friend. I'm a snap-on guy so that was just some fun for the Williams guys. Was it a good deal? I was just asking. Thanks for the straight answers. Not so much to the **** police.

    Big Williams

My friend Brian scored these nice Williams Superwrenches from 1 1/4" (I think) up two 2" for $100. I figured you Williams guys would love to see them. Does he ****? Also included is a pic of the gun safe in his new toolbox, neat idea, believe it's from costco.

Newbie to SnapOn...help with date code

2009. The date code is the symbol after the 8. I assume it's a backwards 9 so as not to be confused with a 6. That's pretty nice ratchet you have there, nice tools rule!

Thanks nine4, that is my first suckage on this site. 52.4 pounds for a penny. Also a sick display of craftmanship Bagged. My hat's of to you.

New vise at a nice price! It was a kicker in a deal for a new scanner, with a $300 rebate and a $1295 good customer discount.

Here is how my latest purchase from the online auction showed up. I could put my hand in the one hole and the other looked like it may have picked up a band-aid along the way. I opened it from the side with the bubble pack, on the other side was deflated plastic bubbles. The vise handle has a...

    Magnet pick up extension tool

I bought a nice matco telescoping magnet and when the telescopic part broke off in the middle of a job i substituted a piece of coat hanger wire. It's turned out to be extremely handy and I haven't thought about using the warranty on the original setup.

Best tool you've ever found in the street

When I was a kid in the 70's my brother and his buddies would always look for hats on the road, a free hat was a score back then. Anyway I'm still on the lookout for stuff. Quite a few years ago I found this 3/8 snap on air drill PDR3. It's been great.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Snap-on calls it a work center riser. Basically it locks up the top space of your toolbox and provides some extra storage along the inner walls. I love mine and there are more than a few at my shop.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I used Cwazy Wabbit's method using the press at my workplace. I found a press ring big enough span the handle across and pressed the center of the bends. A couple hammer smacks on an anvil fine tuned it enough for the girls I go out with so I'm happy.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

Hello all, I bought this Shop King vise last week and it showed up a little worse than when it left the sender. It looked like it took a pretty good fall somewhere along the line and now has a bent handle. The seller was a good guy and agreed to take the vise back and issue me a refund but I...

In need of a quality screwdriver set

I worked with a guy that had pink handled snap-on screwdrivers. He bought them cheap and no one even wanted to borrow them much less steal them. I use red snap-on hard handles myself. Had MATCO cushion grips in orange but brought them home after getting the SO set. Consider a bright color or...

Tool Box for Bedroom Storage (Instead of Wood Furniture)

My wife and I have talked about it and she's game but we would want something nicer and good boxes cost some good money. How many of you have snuck a vise in the house for a door stop?
