Here in England we call them Nipex pronounced NIP EX as one word HTH

I have a makita and I'm very happy with it what I would suggest is that you vist a good tool shop and ask to handle a few different makes as these machines do tend to get heavy after a liittle while and they also have different types of handles try to find the one that you feel most comfortable...

One thing that I would be carefull of is to not get the cheap paint if it dont cover well. As it will cost more in both time and money as you will have to apply more coats to get a decent finish

here are some door I have made for a bedroom but you could do the same for your garage These are veneered MDF that have an oiled finish hand applied.

Rick I dont think you will be able to make them look like you would like them to without lots of hardwork and money as they have been painted in the past. And to have them have the wood effect you are after you may aswell make new ones. I think the best easy solution would be a new coat of paint...

Hi there frank I would suggest you spend a bit more and get better quality tools as these will last a lot longer than the cheaper ones. And if as you say you build small boats it sounds like your tools will get a lot of use.

You got a good deal there for sure :) I have the XS selector kit and find it to be a little to short and a little bit baulky to get into tight spaces.
