    International tool chest??

Saw a tool chest branded "International" at Home Depot, has a drawer that needs the slides replaced. No discount offered, told it was "under warranty". Doing a little google-fu, it seems that this company (SPX International) went out of business in 2020, making the warranty worth less than the...

    Temporarily drainage solution

Yes,,it will freeze when it gets cold, it would only be plugged in when necessary and above freezing. Water collects from runoff from the hill behind the garage, not roof runoff. A simple Trench would work if the end wasn't blocked by the dirt pile. We were fighting weather when we finished...

Concrete read to park on in 7 days?

Just got the floor poured in our 30x60 "carport" on Tuesday and Wednesday, 5.5 in thickness, front section was pumped. Covered up for now due to cold (25 -29 deg) nights. I always thought the Golden rule for concrete was 30 days to park? Vehicles for now are an 82 Wagoneer that is a work...

    Shed/Storage/Shop Flooring options?

I am in the process of building a 12x28 gambrel roof shed. Gravel base, 4x4 "skids", then built the frame with PT 2x6 in 3 sections, joists 12" OC. Tied sections together with 2X6 PT band boards, 3/4 PT plywood floor. Walls are 8' tall, gambrel is about 6' high. Possibly a bit "over-built"...

Any Updates on the Craftsman Premium Ratchets?

Sears seems to be in a coma when it comes to marketing in general these days. The Craftsman Club flyers have all but stopped, and sparse when they do show up. Sale flyers in the Sunday paper have all but disappeared as well, yet K-mart always has big glossy flyers filled with their cut-rate...

Does anyone else think the Craftsman Club sux?

I have been a member for several years, used to get discounts and flyers almost monthly - saved me a lot of $$$ on my IR compressor and tool box. About 6 months ago, the flyers all but stopped (got one in November, I think), and Sears stopped putting ads in the local Sunday paper. Website is...
