The only thing I have had the M12 not be able to do recently is run 3.5" screws into 2" thick oak but that is a completely acceptable in my opinion. For normal pressure treated pine I have not found anything the M12 cannot do.

Those suckers are no joke, I had to get 6 stitches in my leg the other day because I grazed my shin against the blade when I was pulling brush and it popped my shin right open.
Yeah the fence pliers are mainly for 12.5 gauge wire. It looks like homeowner chain link is 11.5 gauge and commercial is 9 gauge so I'm not sure how well they would hold up to that.
