How many modes on the Gen 2 high torque?

What is the first photo of is that redesigned standard hex impact driver or is it a hydraulic

Any torque specs on the Fuel ratchets...awesome!

Does anyone have instructions on disassembling the current M12 cordless ratchet so it can be inspected and lubricated?

I got some differential fluid in the head at some point and it's hard to move by hand now. Still works fine under power.

I just bought a 3/8 too. 30ftlb is great for 1/4, but I'd rather have more for 3/8. When is the avb date?

I think I'm going to have to hold out for one of the new ratchets. Been waffling for a while on the current 3/8 and now I'm glad I did.

The reg models will probably be a normal of $79 each, Fuel ones I would guess will be $149.

As much as I would like Fuel one, unlikely I will replace my 1/4 or 3/8 anytime soon.

Anything less than 4 modes on Gen2 would be a waste.

Of course! Just bought the regular ratchet. Doh!

The regular ratchet only lasts about a year before the head strips out. I don't even manually torque anything with it. Thise new fuel ratchets look a lot beefier fortunately.

M18 Fuel Hackzall is at NPS.

Hopefully Packout modular isnt to pricey, I have 4 ridgid pieces I paid about $105 for all.

Really wish they would make the 3/8's impact a little stronger, seems like everyone is in competition for only the 1/2

It's awesome to see a couple of your own suggestions actually come to fruition. I took a survey about a year ago and they asked what kind of tools I'd like to see next. I asked for a bunch of things, but the things I wanted most were an M18 Fuel Hackzall, Fuel right angle drivers/ratchets, and some sort of head lamp. All of those dreams came true. Still crossing my fingers for an M18 Fuel jigsaw...this NPS actually gives me hope.

I'm really REALLY psyched that they're delving into the 18X2 market. I can only imagine what's gonna become an actual viable cordless tool now haha. The new M12 Gen2 Drill/Impact are finally small! The Gen 2 high torque looks so bad to the bone...repositioned the light down by the mode button...so slick. The new M12 power source is also an M12 trickle charger (1 amp charge rate) via USB! Now that's plain awesome. And the new M18 rover light with the swivel head...lordy! Give me! And the combo wrenches! And the new 22" deep tool chest! It never ends!!!

It's all over. I'm broke in the future.

Haha yeah!!! That 9k lumen site light takes two M18s AND charges them. Not sure if sequentially or at the same time though. Still...so sick. Awesome move by Milwaukee.

Parts breakdown diagrams can be easily found all over the web

Man I like the design of those new fuel ratchets

Especially the big 1/2" model

So have to wonder the all have the same torque rating or they vary slightly like the old ones did.

Different - 40, 55, and 70 lb/ft, respectively, if I'm remembering the IG post right

Nothing really catches my eye except for storage system and the more ~streamlined~ look of the high torque...both of which I have more than enough..

Charges sequentially. Supposedly 21700 cell batteries are in development (1mm bigger than other brands 20700 cells) so I imagine large cells in X2 configuration is their plan to catch Makita X2 and FlexVolt. Next year will likely be a bonanza of high draw tools.

45, 55 and 70 ft lbs for the 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" respectively is what I've read. ^Derek beat me to it lol.

I'm definitely in for Gen2 high torque impact, M18 Fuel hackzall, Fuel ratchets. I'll wait for reviews on the 7.25" mitre (looks promising), the M12 stapler and soldering gun, as well as the M18 heat gun. M12 Gen2 Fuel impact and drill are also potential pickups.

I'm very excited for the packout modular system but I expect Systainer pricing and already have a pile of ToughSystem. Likely get my feet wet and go from there.

7.25 miter saw hey! Now that's all I ever wanted just for basic trim jobs. I always thought the 10" compound bevel slide was a bit overkill for my cordless wants.

So M18 heat gun...

M12 Solder Iron with 90 degree adjustable head that's cool

Just watched a video clip on the 7/14 miter saw. Weighs 28 lbs and over 600 cross cuts on a M18 5.0Ah Nice!

Also seen one for the the PackOut too.

Oh man I could use a storage system like that for my Milwaukee tools!

PackOut really does look like the perfect blend of ToughSystem and Systainer, really hoping it isn't priced like it's made of gold lol.

The compact mitre went back to basics for a more accurate rail system and no extended dust chute; extraction should be far superior to the 10".

So, we ARE getting new M12 fuel drills and drivers, but we AREN'T getting new M18 fuel drills and drivers, correct?

So I'm safe to buy the current stock of M18 fuel drills and drivers?

New M12 fuel drills and impact hey

That kind of surprises me personally didn't really feel the need for any upgrades there but I guess the drill should be smaller and lighter

Should have seen the writing on the wall back when they were running all those recent deals on the combo kits.

Anything new about the M12 Fuel impact wrenches?
