    TIG Welding Aluminum Resource

I paid to give some of our employees access. They video content is great in my opinion. The price is cheap in my opinion if one of my guys can elevate there game.

    TIG Welding Aluminum Resource

I have been TIG welding aluminum for many years. It is one of my favorite things to weld. We hire people all the time who want to learn more about it. I own two different businesses and often find myself just managing the chaos each day. I wish I had more time to sit with people and work...

Congrats on the laser purchase. We bought one last December and have not looked back. It has been a very busy year. Nice looking cabinet

What size for a fab table? Anything you wish you had done?

Clutter is a struggle in every shop. We have the guys clean their work space at the end of each day. I hate clutter and it still happens at the shop when things get busy. Dan

    Overkill?

What size for a fab table? Anything you wish you had done?

Tables we use in the shop are: 2x4 tops. I like this size for placing near what we are working on. The tables have receiver tubes so we can add things like a vise. We have 3x5 for some production welding and light fab works. I TIG weld a lot of fuel tanks at this table. I am replacing it...

Or laser cut them. We laser cut the tables in our shop. Mostly because we have a laser sitting here. Waterjet is a great option as well. Dan

Working on some fixture tables for our shop

We are working on getting them set up in our production welding booths. I will post up some more pics soon. Some of the fixtures we use we will not post because we either can't show another companies parts we are making or we don't want to show some of the ways we do things. I do have some...

Working on some fixture tables for our shop

I have never thought of using Bondo but that would work great in some applications.

Cart from scrap, boring be warned

Looks good to me. I need to take some time and make some more carts for the shop. We move a lot of cut plate around. We have a few 4x8 carts on casters to unload the laser and move to staging at the press brake. I need to make some smaller ones to better separate smaller jobs in the shop.

Working on some fixture tables for our shop

We cut some new tables on our Amada laser a few days ago. They will go in our production welding booths. We have a few guys who assemble parts all day everyday. We needed a faster way to fixture and a way to consolidate the fixtures when not in use. So... here we go. I will update more when...

Torchmate 4800 CNC Plasma Cutter details

Sorry to take so long responding. I had a heart attack back in April and took some time to hang out with the family and then it has been crazy busy here at the shop. On the TM4800 we are getting 1600-1800 pierces reliably on 3/16" HRPO. I dropped the plasma table off at a local high school...
