Here is my CA. framing hammer circa 1977. Trying to achieve a bigger face, but lighter weight.

Here's my 2nd round top, 1/3 hp (1st is a 1/2 commercial). Replaced the power cord and got some rubber feet. Little beatification w/ rattle can and ready for service. Before (w/ SS# and DL# scratched in ) and after.

I'm revising above, as I think the PO used some type of adhesive on the quill tension knob! I even found some remaining bit on the head near the quill support : (. Quill was "stuck" so a little persuasion with a piece of wood & hammer released it :). So far I haven't heard mention the trick...

Hey Smoke, found it on FB Marketplace about 1 month ago. Seller started at $385 (!!!) and reduced to $325. Probably overpaid at $250, but every other box set was similarly priced for HF / HD / newer Craftsman. Any advise on how to remove the drawers?

It has to come out from the top, i.e. ONLY tap it from the bottom. It's a tapered fit. Ask me how I know...:lol_hitti

Just wanted to let everyone know that QC Supply (and Tom) came through for me and sent me a free replacement valve. With any luck I might have heat before the new year!

First contact w/ QC Supply tech support "Tom" and he wants information on propane test company's pressure test info. I believe he wants to infer that either the Propane Co. or the plumber put too much pressure through the gas valve causing the leak. Propane Co. got back to me with 11.5 to 14...
