Thanks. I just finished the hardest thing I have made on the lathe. It doesn;t look like it is hard, but it is made from sweet gumball pods and resin. Casting it with bubbles and defects was HARD and then turning it even harder. Here are the pods and final bowl.

Yes, the wires on one of the brushes burned 1/2 and that started a plasma storm inside the motor that also melted another brush set and then started melting the brush holders into slag. However, the other two brush sets on that motor were still working which is how I got to 178MPH. 1 and 1/2...

That's exactly what happened. The show didn't air it, but they filmed him accepting the deal and him turning it down. That part just didn't make the cut. Everything else was just as it happened. The wife wanted a ride and the guy Shaggy really didn't believe what the car could do. The burn out...

We just got back from the last Texas Mile where I ran 178.1 which is a new personal best and a new vintage mustang world record :-) What's really cool is that I did it with one of my electric motors 1/2 blown out and melting. I see 200mph in the future...
