We went to the show about three years ago, very impressed. Even got in a tour of the plantation while we were there.

@larry4406 the “leverage” tool that I used to take out the incorrect bends was also used to add the correct ones back in. It’s nowhere near as consistent as a slip roll, but you’re welcome to try it out if you think it would do the trick More insight is a good thing

Had an insurance job in the shop, a collaboration with a local collision shop. One of those fancy, old-time looking hearse had a backing up run in with a yellow pole. The mirrors on this thing are on top of fender mounted spare tires, and let's just say they leave a lot to be desired. There...

    welding pinholes in sheetmetal,TIG?

For MIG wire on sheet metal I prefer using ER70S-7. It has a slightly higher Manganese content for better wetting, ie: flowout. So with the machine adjusted correctly, you'll get flatter weld dots that are actually easier to planish than the typical MIG weld. Adjusted correctly would be...

Should have the chrome plating going on this week... Saturday the truck participated in a poker run, I had invited a friend to ride along. He was one of those guys who appears to think that old vehicles doors don't close properly and need to be slammed. Normally I speak up rather...

Since early last year, we've been making trips to the west coast to tend to my father-in-law, who has been diagnosed with dementia. We recently moved him out here to the east coast where we can better keep tabs on him and have been in the process of disposition of stuff. So sadly, the wagon...

Larry, I'm not a big fan of pointy ends on body hammers, they tend to add damage the other direction. So if someone has a ding to remove, the ball end performs more of a PDR type repair than the spikes that I've removed from both these hammers. They also come in handy for concave areas or...
