The lift posts are bolted into the floor as shown. This is the middle garage where the real work will be done. There is plenty of room to move around and still have tools, benches, etc... handy.

The original two car garage is still garage space!!!! It will be more or less a work shop. You can never have too much garage space.... Thanks everyone for the positive comments. This turned out better than I imagined.
