    Garage door opener advice

Would also recommend Chamberlain and a belt drive if you can. I like Liftmaster/Chamberlin because I can control them with my phone. I'm guessing Genie can do it too, but I won't spend time looking if it can. Nice to open gate and garage door before I get into my alley so it's ready for me and...

    My garage odyssey

Is the underground pump room still a thing?

Ridgid tool giveaway scam? Thanks for doing...

If you can stand the, more than likely, high COVID wait time I'd call them rather than wait on an email. The email alone looks good as far as spelling and whatnot, but it is suspicious not being directed to a Rigid website.

What do you guys with a lift use for an oil pan

I just use this. Gets a few changes and then when I go to an auto parts store to get more oil I just dump it there.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Back window stopped rolling up on my Tahoe. Opened up the door and found the motor is eating itself, plastic falling off when rolling down and crunching noises. Time to order a whole new motor and regulator.

Finding CG on a vehicle for putting on a lift.

I have a symmetric two post lift and if I'm lifting a truck or SUV I will put the front two exterior door handles at the center of the posts. As far as a car I can't help there.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Had to replace a haptic motor in my truck seat so the driver warning system would stop beeping at me when I get close to something. Absolutely terrible design by GM.

Room for a 2 post lift.

I would say no. I have a 25' wide shop and I have the one post 16" from the wall and regret it due to spacing issues(needs more space). I also park a truck on the side without the lift and it is cramped. I have about 18" between my truck and the wall. So if you only have 22' wide I'd suggest...

    Wireless light switch ??

Since you don't want to replace the bulb right now you could always replace the light switch with a smart switch you can control through an app. Some even have the option to set a schedule.

    Simple garage conversion help

Are you totally opposed to getting rid of your garage door? Seems like it could be nice to lift it up on a summer night and just relax. Could probably find some used garage pieces on craigslist or online somewhere. This could save you a good bit since you won't have to frame and insulate an...

    Mirrored Cabinet Faces?

Not a bad idea. I probably wouldn't. Be too afraid of a swinging a tool or a spring washer flying off perfectly and breaking it and shattering all over the floor; or worse inside a coolant/oil container in the engine bay.

    Sliding gate opener

I will say that I have similar gate, only it's a 20' wide opening. I have a liftmaster and am pleased with it. Nice to use the app and open it when I enter the alleyway so it's fully open once I arrive to it.

Swept and mopped the whole thing for a party tomorrow night.

New small garage - floor pit opinions

I'd avoid a pit. I'd much rather wiggle around on my back with a jack and jack stands. Or like suggested get a mid rise lift. If you're dead set on a pit then for the width just make sure you can fit whatever car you want over it without riding the safety rail when pulling in. Height is based...

523 piece tool box : hoax or great deal ? $139.99

:headscrat Can't tell if he's serious thinking you actually did business with them or also running with the joke. Sadly they will probably get some victims.
