Ended up removing the wall. I added some vertical support first. It makes the garage feel twice as big.

Adding rafter ties? Suggestions? Bracing the cross members from the top and adding rafter ties work?

That would be awesome. Hoping for a few more opinions to make me feel better. Totally new at this.

I would love to remove this “wall”. Im not sure if its load bearinf. We just bought this home. Eventually id like to have a ceiling and insulate it. Im not worried about storage. Any help would be appreciated.
