I had a failure with my PB Swiss hammer this weekend. Apparently the metal face is not solid but rather a steel cap over a Polyamide head. While using it the steel cap shattered! I've really liked the hammer so far so I plan on getting a new head and keeping it around, but I'm also looking...
I prefer knipex over snap-on for any type of cutter. I bought my snap-on wire cutters first and never realized how terrible they were until I was given a pare of knipex wire cutters as a gift. Now all of the various types of cutters I use are knipex.

Wiha is great. I've also been using some Wera bits and I really like them. KC Tools is a good place to look for either brand, and you can also find a lot on Amazon.

Those look like some great boots :thumbup: I've never heard of Scarpa before but I'll have to check them out. I've had good luck with with similar climbing type shoes over the past couple years.
I used it a bit today and so far I am very impressed. I just have to get used to the slow start up.

Yeah, the price is pretty high but I've been using one of their smaller cases for a few years now and it has held up really well. I travel a fair bit for work so it's worth it for me to spend the extra money.
I've been in the market for a new impact wrench for a bit. I was going to buy a Makita but then I saw the Metabo ssw 18 LTX 400 on here and decided that was what i really needed :rocker: I also picked up some Wera 1/2in sockets and extensions and a pair of Knipex flush cuts.
