    If you are tightening something with flats then Ill second the plierswrench with its parallel jaws. Otherwise the bicycle inner tube offers good protection and sufficient grip.

    I use those little guys all the time! Pairs nicely with the TD170. And actually Makitas impact socket sets are quite nice too which include the adapter for ~$15.

    Notlob is correct. The 4" HF freebies are easy to knock the magnets off of. And there are still free coupons for them, I actually just picked one up this morning.
