So Sears and Kmart keep sending me surprise points through the Shop Your Way rewards program. They do this even though I make no purchases, except to use these points.

The ones we use are the ones where $5 or $7 is usable for a purchase of that amount or more.

Sometimes we will get packs of socks or underwear at Kmart by adding a few dollars.

But I wanted to get some tools.

So listing the tools at Sears by price, I found a pry bar priced at $5.99 and used my $5 in points for it. My cost of .91, would get me a nice pry bar to use on window and door trim....I thought.

Here's what I received when I went to pick it up:

Tiny tools indeed!

At least it's made in USA!

Now what can I use it for?

I have a Vaughan mini prybar like that in blue. Wouldn't be surprised if they are the oem. I don't use it much but sometimes it is the only thing that will work, like removing delicate wood trim in tight spots.

I have a little bar like that from Dasco, I use it to manipulate base boad and casing while installing. Great for aligning corners/joints.

I found one of those somewhere... can't remember where I got it. Cleaned it up and shot it with a rattle can of red paint. Damn handy little gizmo when you need it to pull back a tiny piece of cove molding!
