I think im just going to go with a smaller 1 or 1.5 HP "quite" compressor for the basement and a Quincy big bore oiled compressor for the garage just like you stated. Im replacing 3 older type compressors that rattle my teeth. Can't take it anymore and the wife complained about the noise in basement.
I think the motor and pump on all these things are the same made in China stuff. It seems the sound level is just going to match the HP of the motor regardless of brand. This is a 2HP witch seems to be the limit for these compressors. The pumps are not in tandom but have seperate lines going to...
I was wondering what peoples opinions are on these compressors, brands and longevity ? I came across this one on a youtube video but cant find one similiar on the US market. It's priced right and has pumps running Independently instead of in tandom like the US imported models.
It depends on what your intended use is. If you want to do nothing with it but drill holes in rock then by all means get a rotary hammer drill. If you want a drill with a 1/2 chuck for occasional rock drilling ability then get a hammer drill. I would recommend the Milwaukee corded (you don't...
I don't see the new 3 cylinder single stage listed at Harbor Freight for sale anymore. They must have stopped production and or selling that model and returned to the old one.
Ya they could of at least ot that damn emblem on level.lol
It has the lock in snap on roller drawer slides(I believe that's what you are referring to in the pic below). Still beleive it was sold as Blue Point . I beleive the bent sides are the proof. Doesn't bother me to much but if i would...
I didn't buy it out of vanity. I bought it because it was a single bank and that's what i wanted without paying 2 grand. The HF tool box is a double. I don't want to open 2 drawer's for the effort of one. These boxes don't come up for sale much around here and not for that price when they do.Heck...
I don't see any sign's where a blue point badge was removed but it could have been.
If it has been oh well. It was either this or US general for the price. You should see what it replaced. When my son was helping me switch out the tool's he said he couldn't believe i worked out of that for all...
It doesn't say Blue Point on the sticker or anywhere else. Maybe the Bkue Point and the Snap on were the same box at the time depending on what emblem they put on it ?
The side panel's are bent inward not like the new KRA model's that are flat.
Picked this up off Craigslist. I thought it would be a KRA model but the Model number read's KRB7107B. Does anybody know anything about this box.Box measures 40" tall by 40" wide by 19 3/4" deep. Ball Bearing Roller slides.Every drawer but the top small 2 has the ability to have 2 slides on each...
You can have those Zoeller's rebuilt. I live in a flood plain in the Mississippi valley and have owned every brand of pump made at one time ot another. Nothing has outlasted and been more reliable than a Zoeller. It's the only pump brand that goes into my sump hole.
Could be somebody who just want's to bash HF (not that they don't need bashing when it comes to certain items and practices). Out of 291 reviews there is only 8 that are 2 stars and under. I would like to see a member on here show us one that has failed. I need some real evidence these day's.
