Picked this up off Craigslist. I thought it would be a KRA model but the Model number read's KRB7107B. Does anybody know anything about this box.Box measures 40" tall by 40" wide by 19 3/4" deep. Ball Bearing Roller slides.Every drawer but the top small 2 has the ability to have 2 slides on each side. Gave 500 for it.

It doesn't say Blue Point on the sticker or anywhere else. Maybe the Bkue Point and the Snap on were the same box at the time depending on what emblem they put on it ?

The side panel's are bent inward not like the new KRA model's that are flat.

I don't see any sign's where a blue point badge was removed but it could have been.

If it has been oh well. It was either this or US general for the price. You should see what it replaced. When my son was helping me switch out the tool's he said he couldn't believe i worked out of that for all this time.lol

If it is a Blue Point other than the bent sides what's the difference ?

I didn't buy it out of vanity. I bought it because it was a single bank and that's what i wanted without paying 2 grand. The HF tool box is a double. I don't want to open 2 drawer's for the effort of one. These boxes don't come up for sale much around here and not for that price when they do.Heck i can put devider's in ! I'm cheap what can i say.Dent's and scratches don't bother me.

I looked at the inside of the HF box and it is not double walled but has channels that support the drawer slides.

It makes me wonder why the snap on uses a flat side and the Blue point has bent sides ? Is there something between the 2 wall's in the snap on? Is the snap on a thicker walled box ?You would think the bend would add more strength.

This isn't rocket science !

Come to think of it, the Snap-on emblem does look a little bit out of level.

Just check the drawer pulls. If it's a Snap-on, it'll have Lock 'n Roll drawer latches.

It a bluepoint, originally would of had bluepoint logo on top frame bar left side .
Someone was vain or wanted up value so buffed it and badged it snapon .
Looks tidy and they not a bad size, would of been little nicer if 22" or 24" depth
Roller bearings and finger latch I think, not seen one in few years.
Will hold better value and be a bit more pride over modern import box .

I've got the KRA4107 looks to be the same aside from the sides. As others have said probably a BluePoint with Snap-on badge. I recently replaced all of the drawer slides. The original ones had a Snap-on stamp on it. The replacements, which were purchased directly from Snap-on, aren't stamped with the Snap-on logo.

Ya they could of at least ot that damn emblem on level.lol

It has the lock in snap on roller drawer slides(I believe that's what you are referring to in the pic below). Still beleive it was sold as Blue Point . I beleive the bent sides are the proof. Doesn't bother me to much but if i would have known in the beginning i would have talked them down at least another 100 but i have wasted 100 on worse thing's. Scammer's everywhere.

A good lesson for everybody.

Would love to here a snap on guy chime in and tell us what the real difference is other than the bent/indented sides.

BP and SO boxes were essentially the same

Older KRA4107 had round corners, new ones have square corners
