    W.R. Chapman Glendale Cal

Thanks for finding that. Your Google-Fu skills are outstanding. Using what you found it seems that W.R. Chapman owned an auto parts store at that location and sold it in '48. So perhaps these were promotional item that was made for the guy or the store. Thanks for helping

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Haven't really been on much, the Plomb harvesting has been a bit slow for awhile. I did pick this up today at the Long Beach Hi-Po swap meet, got it for $50, including all the bits inside. In the catalog it's listed as set 3200-D.

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

Picked this up over the weekend, 4" jaws, 7.5" arm puller. Round 'O' no date codes, has the arrowheads. I've not seen a Plomb puller like this. Thinking it's very early, I'm not even finding a puller like this in the 1923 or 1925 catalogs.

    Replacement Plomb hammer handle?

So I have the head of a Plomb 1375 plastic tip hammer. It doesn't have a handle, so I'm on the hunt. The opening is round, 5/8" diameter. I'm not super concerned with an original style handle, but would be nice. Honestly, I won't really use the hammer probably, this is just to make it "complete".

The J100 Keychain Screwdrivers Research Project

Hope these help. The blade isn't parallel, I guess you could say, to the head, like others I have. The blade was ground with a bit of an angle. This one measures 2⅝" inches from one end to the other.

The J100 Keychain Screwdrivers Research Project

Here you go. It's the most odd shaped one, looks more hand made than the others.

Here's most of my Plomb 100s. I have another one, but I think it's in one of my toolmobiles.

I've got 14 Plomb screwdriver keychains, one of them is stamped Morris B. Pendleton on the backside. I'll get them all together and get some pics.

Plomb tool picture thread - show your stuff!

I don't come on for a while and this is what I miss lol. Yes, I'm the one that has the 1923 and 1925 catalogs. I do plan to scan these at some point, but so much has been going on lately with work and family. I haven't even been buying lately. If anybody needs any info from these catalogs, let...

Haven't really been buying anything lately, but did finally get around to the Long Beach Hi-Po swap meet, picked these up. 4019 large puller box, WF110, WF111, WF113 line wrenches, 5-3/4 Los Angeles flooring chisel, AT-39 Ranger 5/8 wrench and my favorite, S148 1/2" speed wrench, pre 1927...

Very early Plomb wrench. Is it real?

Wrenches were some of the first mechanics type tools Plomb made starting in the early 20's. Here's a page from the 1923 catalog.

Very early Plomb wrench. Is it real?

Yes, it seems to have been hit or miss for the Los Angeles stamping. I have seen them both ways on various early Plombs. They are not super rare, but far from super common, so for the right price it won't be a bad wrench to pick up. May I ask what the seller wants for it? What are the sizes...
