Here is what the dormers looked like after they were framed.

Its been a month and between the snow, rain and wind progress was very slow. However, with the arrival of spring things are beginning to move again. These pics from April 4th. The last picture is a shot from upstairs from the garage looking at the house.

Thanks for all the help. The dormers have been framed and as soon as they are wrapped I will post the pics in my build string.

I drew my own plans and now I am questioning where I put the dormers. Maybe someone here can confirm I'm not crazy. I have attached a picture as an example and my question is.... Is there a normal location where the double header begins up the roof? I have seen many times where the dormer is...

I'm actually pleased with the progress considering the weather that we have had this winter. It's always nice when you can see the changes every day but I know once its in the dry, things will slow down again.

Yesterday we set the trusses. I have to admit never saw a tree bucket truck used for this but it worked great.
