For those of who you have built garages with multiple bays. Holy Moses! The cost of the doors hurts. Looking at 2" insulated steel sandwich doors. One or two sounds affordable but when you take it times 4 the numbers grow exponentially.

Just sounding off to make myself feel better about the project. I'm sure the end result will be worth the sacrifice but for now its hard to let go of those hard earned green backs.

Hey man, congrats on the shop build. 30X60 is the size I would like to have, with three evenly spaced 10X10 doors. Keep the updates coming as they happen!

Its been a month and between the snow, rain and wind progress was very slow. However, with the arrival of spring things are beginning to move again.
These pics from April 4th.

The last picture is a shot from upstairs from the garage looking at the house.

mybuickgs, others have said it too, but that is the style (minus 1 bay) I hope to do, myself. Unfortunately it will be at least a couple years before I can break ground. Working on purchasing the property to make it happen, though :fingersx:.

Great shots of the construction, too! I have to say, I think the build would be just as fun as using it when its finished. Have fun with it!

Thanks for sharing. I'll be watching your thread.
