Liftmaster 8500W - New Model, Fixed Controller!?

Thank you for the quick reply and confirmation. I should have been more clear in my first post as my decision was either inside the house or out in the garage. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Liftmaster 8500W - New Model, Fixed Controller!?

Does anyone know if the temperature display on the wall controller is the temp at the wall controller or the opener itself? I would think the wall controller, but I could not find a straight answer in my searching. An answer will help me decide where to place the wall controllers.

New member in Nebraska with farm shop ordered

I'd start planning how you are going to finish the walls and such with the spray foam on everything. The steel building depending upon construction makes it a bit more difficult to finish the inside IMO. I have yet to figure out exactly how i want to finish the inside without wasting any wall...

2"pipe embedded in new concrete as door seal

I used this as I had some back drainage of water on certain rains. Worked like a charm and been down a few years. Fixed the water issue and sealed the door better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001JDJQ8E/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    steel building info

This is the most i have seen Olympia mentioned. That is the company I went with on my 36x54. Have been very pleased with it. They had heavier tin on the roof and sides than other I looked at. The snow and wind load was engineered for my area in central Nebraska. The only thing I don't like...

    Buying a 4 post lift...

As with many others that posted, I looked at many of the lower price point lifts that fit the height, width, capacity requirements I had. Ended up with with an AutoLift from Best Buy. So far I am pleased. I would love to have a commercial quality one, but it just didn't make sense. My 1500HD...

Why so many auto parts stores nowadays?

No facts to back it up, but I think the internet and more specifically Youtube has been the largest single factor enabling growth for auto parts businesses in the last 5-10 years. Wanna troubleshoot an EGR valve in 1997? Go get the Haynes manual... Today, spend 5 minutes watching the exact...

Nomination for "BEST Automotive Maintenance Feature Ever"

If nobody already said it, digital tire pressure readout on dash. Takes the guess out of knowing when to check them. Nice if you live on a sketchy gravel road.

    Direct Lift dealers near Nebraska?

I went with an extra tall 8k Auto Lift from Best Buy Auto equipment. It had the height I wanted and the cost was right and seems very comparable to Direct Lift. No it isn't certified. The caster wheels were steel (I upgraded them). I plan to use it numerous places in the shop and wont bolt it...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Replaced rear main seal and oil pan gasket in my Silverado 1500HD. Took more than just today. Under estimated the time it would take by a mile. It did not go smoothly as I ran into a few snags..
