    Rustoleum Striping Paint removal

Well lots of views but no advice, it is a tough problem. If anyone else finds yourself in this situation, this is what I did. An old boy on another forum I frequent suggested aircraft stripper from the auto parts store. It is really nasty stuff, eye protection, thick gloves, shop apron, etc...

    Rustoleum Striping Paint removal

Hello, I messed up some lines on my driveway with Rustoleum Inverted Striping Paint. I am not satisfied with the results and would like to strip it off and have another go. What can I use to strip it off? I did some pretty good surface prep prior to painting so it's on there pretty good. I...

Sawdust stained my new concrete!? what can I do?

Wow it would not even have occurred to me to break out a bunch of harsh chemicals for a little stain on concrete, (it's a garage floor for cryin' out loud, not an art museum) much less thinking about ripping it up! If I couldn't stand a little stain like that I'd cover the slab with plexiglass...

    A/C ideas needed

Thank you very much for your input and for the points you raise. I actually was thinking the other day about exposed ductwork, and I wouldn't even mind it on the man cave side if it can be at least a little tastefully done.

    A/C ideas needed

Thanks guys. Workshop side will be mainly woodworking and maybe some mechanical projects. Noise not an issue. When it's really hot outside I want to be able to make the building cool enough to be comfortable to work/hang out in. As for budget , well, I'll say I'm willing to spend what it...

Well I guess everybody looks but has nothing to say. Thank you Tom, your post is very helpful. I am trying to educate myself about HVAC, right now I don't know enough to even discuss this intelligently with a contractor.

    A/C ideas needed

I am planning a rigid frame steel building, 60x40x10'. It will have an inside wall dividing it into two 40x30 rooms. Both rooms will be finished inside, one will be a workshop area and the other will be a place for my other hobbies and general man cave/hang out area. I am looking for heating...

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Gearbanger's Shop Project

Hello, new guy on the forum here, your walls look awesome, I'm going to steal that idea when the time comes for my building. I see that you are using treated fence material, some of it looks to have been pretty well used. I don't know much about this, so this is an honest question. I'm...

    Hello

Hello from north Mississippi. I ran across this board while looking on the net for information about steel buildings and workshop construction. I am looking to have built a 60' x 40' x 10' rigid frame building with another 30' of covered canopy, for a workshop area with probably half of the...
