Hello from north Mississippi. I ran across this board while looking on the net for information about steel buildings and workshop construction. I am looking to have built a 60' x 40' x 10' rigid frame building with another 30' of covered canopy, for a workshop area with probably half of the inside finished out as a man cave/hang-out area. It will be plumbed for a bathroom and shower and wired for all sorts of machines. Heated and cooled too. I'm going to have the building shelled out and my father-in-law and I will do the interior at our own pace. I have dreamed about this for years but now that I'm actually planning it, it seems a little overwhelming, I just thought I would put up a workshop some day but I see now it's basically going to be like building another house. I have no formal carpentry or construction but my father was a very skilled carpenter in his younger days before I was born and I learned a bit watching him on weekend projects. This board is a wonderful resource and I have tons of reading and research to do. This is the desire of a lifetime and I want to get it right.
