    Just found out some info on the Curtis "Swench" wrench-the 3/4" version provides 800ft/lb of torque, and is used for torquing the prop retaining nut on large propellers mounted on radial engines. Power Hawk owns the brand now, and still makes them. Linky.

    Replacing the VANOS line doesn't sound horrible if you're already familiar with mechanical work. BMW VANOS Oil Line & Solenoid Replacement Sounds like you can do the valve cover gasket at the same time, which is nice.
