We have gotten all the screw holes filled and all the gaps caulked. I will post some pictures once the paint has dried. Would be great if the weather would cooperate 😊 Thanks for all the discussion!

Thanks for the reply! That is what I was thinking. Caulk between the wood and drywall and caulk between the boards. I'm not real experienced in caulking but it looks like there is backing rod available that might be useful in this case.

Yes, the OSB is installed temporarily until the new garage doors get installed. Painting the wood around the doors will have to be a mutli-step process since the OSB and existing doors prevent painting all the wood.
