    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

I've had my maxjax now for 11-12 years, I think. It's been great 95% of the time. I just started getting some leaks a month or so back and decided with the help of Steve rebuild the cylinders. All went well! While I had everything apart, I figured I'd drill another hole in the columns, so...

    MaxJax Flow Divider

Older thread but wanted to check in to see if you have to keep adjusting the valve based on what you are lifting? IE: When you lift something that is 5000lbs did you adjust it more only to find out that the side with the valve on it then lifts even slower if there is something lighter than the...

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

What was the adjustable flow valve that you went with? I just got done rebuilding my original maxjax cylinders and noticed my far right side colum/cylinder lifts faster. Does your adjustable flow valve only work one way when lifting and then when you release it is full flow? Would love to see...

Where to get seal kit for original maxjax (NON-Revised version)?

Seems like my maxjax from 2011 has been revised. Because the seal kit that I had sitting around for the one cylinder is clearly different that what I have. I did a little digging and it appears that after 2011 Dannmar revised the cylinder. So now I have a cylinder that leaks but can't find a...

    Strut Spring Compressor

No problemo. I've used the thing like 30 times now...lol. I couldn't decide on which springs I wanted to use on my car so I ended up swapping different springs, and this was so easy and effortlessly. I can completely take a whole shock/strut apart in a maybe 20 seconds. It's crazy. -Nigel

Ingersoll Rand 3/8 impact question 2115QTiMAX vs 15QMAX?

Oh wow, very good information. Appreciate it. I'm glad I didn't buy it then. I do like air tools. I don' thave a problem with going with battery powered but the main thing is that I then have to buy into some ecosystem and then now I've got batteries everywhere which drives me nuts..hahaha...

Ingersoll Rand 3/8 impact question 2115QTiMAX vs 15QMAX?

I have a 1/2 IR 2135Ti impact that just broke (nothing major just some orings and easy stuff)... so I'm rebuilding that tomorrow. I would like to have a 3/8 impact and found these two. 3/8 normal IR: 2115QTiMAX https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001BQLZYC/?tag=atomicindus08-20 Or 3/8 compact IR...

Daikin MiniSplit question. Confused on specs.

I've never seen those flaretites. Is it a cap that goes on top of the flare part? I normally don't like to add another element that might cause a problem but these look interesting! And you've had good luck with them which is nice. So that's the only thing I don't have/know how to get is...

Daikin MiniSplit question. Confused on specs.

I didn't realize it was that cheap to run. Most excellent! Yep, a hundred a year is nothing to keep the garage comfortable, heck my 3d printer I'm sure costs way more than that to run and it's constantly printing. I found an excellent source on YouTube of a gentleman going through ALL the...

Daikin MiniSplit question. Confused on specs.

Excellent thank you! My concern "was" that by not following manufacture's suggested install would result in a less than happy customer..lol I just want to make sure I'm doing everything 100% correctly when spending this type of money on something and not have it be a flop then ALLLL the HVAC...

Daikin MiniSplit question. Confused on specs.

I'm going with Mitsubishi. I know 1000% that as soon as I buy something other than that, I am going to wonder why I didn't just spend the extra $500-600 to get top tier. Even looking at the condenser for the outside unit the Mitsubishi is almost 40lbs heavier than the Daikin. Although...

Daikin MiniSplit question. Confused on specs.

I'm not opposed to Pioneer but it's one of those brands I never considered. It was either Daikin or Mitsu. I am ok with buying once and crying once. What I don't want is buying something then later regretting why I didn't spend more money on the original unit that I wanted but cheaped out...

What I learned in Mini Split Installation

That's disappointing to hear. I thought they were the top tier along with Mitsubishi. The Daikin I'm looking at is only 500 less than the Mitsubishi so it makes me wonder if I should just spend the money and get the mitsu. -Nigel
