Looking for a single stand off for the old style KR402 handle. P/N: according to this old bag is KR402A3 if I'm reading it correctly. Bonus if you have a pair of the rubber handle ends, I need those too.

    Starrett 226

I acquired this older set of Starrett 226 mics today from a local gentleman on Facebook today. I am very excited to bring them back into service. I'll polish up the frames tomorrow. I do have a few questions for the fine folks here. 1) The barrels are all very smooth but is there any lubricant I...

I have found local consignment and recovery auctions get a lot of these cans. They can usually be bought used for $10-20 depending on condition.

A couple of months ago I picked up this KR562B locally at a pretty decent price. I am currently restoring it for use at work. I plan to make a post on the entire process when I am finished, but for now I am looking for a handle (KR-402 I believe) assembly and an original tow bar plate.

    Measuring Tapes - GJ Poll

I always loved my Stanley Leverlocks (I had one 16' and two 12' I think). My boss got sick of me handing him those when he needed measurements (he said they were too flimsy) so he bought me a Milwaukee 48-22-7125. Magnetic tip, wire pocket clip, and the finger stop have all been surprisingly...

    Dead blow exploded.

+1 on the Snap On dead blows. Temperature change seems to be the killer from what I've seen. I go through about 1 a year. They keep replacing them though.

    Hello from SW MI

Been lurking for a while, thought I should introduce myself. I am mostly here gathering information for future projects (As if I don't have enough.) I am an Operations Technician at a local museum with a varying skillset. Thanks for having me!
