    The Salvage Garage

Has anyone actually seen Jack's Before Photos? - I didn't see any in his thread... :headscrat To Sriracha Me: Its looking much more useable. Mine gets like the above photo, then I clean it but it only seems to last a month or so...

    Track.One's Shop Build

Nice! Thanks for sharing, too - like others have said, it makes you want to go out to the shed and start doing something!

My garage at my new house

Keep 'em coming mate. Wish my tools were that neat. I have a 9 x 33 (almost two car length, barely one car wide. Mine is getting knocked down at some stage for a rebuild, but sharing ideas is what this place is all about. It's good to see some smaller, 'regular people' garages that are more in...

Storage of car trailer on 4 post lift

Not a bad idea but if you didn't use either very often, as long as its within the swl weight range.

The Ultra Low Budget, Narrow (Almost) Tandem Garage

Cheers mate. I think that workshop section/half would be about 4m by 2.7m, so it is only a small space. The biggest difference I've noticed is in getting stuff off the floor and onto shelves. This probably applies to large spaces as well, but when you don't have much room to start with...

The Ultra Low Budget, Narrow (Almost) Tandem Garage

Well I haven't been able to easily get into the workshop end of my shed (garage) for a while because its so narrow and the project car is on jack stands in the middle, not against one wall. A mate suggested I replace a window on one of the walls wth a door to make access easier. A week later, I...

    A typical New Zealand garage...

Seems tidy and well thought out - plenty of bench space. Here in Australia we rarely gyprock (drywall) our garages unless they are attached to the house - and even then, its only the walls that back onto the house - the brick wall/s are usually left bare. Do you guys have a lot of steel...

The Ultra Low Budget, Narrow (Almost) Tandem Garage

Cheers guys. I'm on the east coast of Oz, near Newcastle, 2hrs north of Sydney. The ute is a Holden, our GM brand - I think your Pontiac G8 is basically a rebadged 'Holden Commodore' - we still have the commodore, even though GM no longer imports the pontiac version. The older holdens got a...

The Ultra Low Budget, Narrow (Almost) Tandem Garage

Been lurking for a long while, though I'd better contribute something... I bought my first house in dec '09. It's a small block of ~13m x 32m ~ 420m^2 The garage is 2.7m x 10m, or about 9'x33'. It is a single that has been extended lengthways to make it about 10m long. The bottom plates...
