Thanks Bret! Most of the progress happened in 15-30 minute spurts. It to many of these small spurts to get from owning the machines to being able to use one. Hope the truck is treating you well!
Thanks Unruh! I've just realized you are supremely gifted with building things from your thread...
It's been a while since my last post. Hope everyone's been doing well and getting lots of projects or tasks done, no matter how trivial.
I'll also apologize at the beginning of this post because it is going to have 16 photos so it may get a little long.
Back in the middle of July...
Congrats on the fence and way to shine up that emblem! The cordless circular saw is also very handy if a piece of wood or PVC pipe is too long for transport. Longer items are cheaper and you can make a few rough cuts to reap those benefits without a roof rack. Love my Dewalt for that.

Great score on the forstner bits. You must have pleased one of the boot fair gods with a sacrifice at the brai.

That is one heavy-duty Radio Flyer. I, too, received my QST emblem earlier in the week but haven't had a chance to post yet. I'm seriously hoping to squeeze in some QST soon, but we have a heat wave in progress (tomorrow real feel temp is forecasted for 110 F) so hanging out in the shed...
Hope your digger runs well. The backpack leaf blower I picked up last month needs a major cleaning and I am not looking forward to it. It is probably clogged with varnish. :(

Whenever you make a recommendation for something you wear, I am very tempted to buy. Beautiful flowers you got there!

Not meaning to thread jack. How would you drive the end bells off? I have a very old 1/2 h.p. Powr-Kraft motor and it doesn't seem to want to budge with a rubber mallet. With other old cast iron motors, they had vent holes I could use a puller against, but mine has none. Keep banging it with the...
In a bit of a bind. I was hoping to rewire the motor that came with my 2nd Shopsmith 10ER, but I can't get the end bell off. This motor seems to be very old and uncommon. Serial is 7-F and MFG NO. is RBOC-50. Model no. is 15YOB-4569 SS. Going to go look for my rubber mallet... Most of the...
Great to hear you called in reinforcements. Burning would take at least a day because there is limited oxygen to keep the burn progressing. Most videos online show the slow progress. If you have a chain saw, you could put multiple slices through it through the center of the stumps like a cake to...
Congratulations on the power! Do you have any plans for adding a drain to your roof before it gets cold again?
