    Recomend a Creeper

I got the Bone creeper, added a piece of 1X1 tubing to two of the wheel bolts with a piece of one of those pool noodles slipped on for a headrest. Works fine. My BendPak lift means less work on the creeper, but I still need it for some stuff.

    Dumpster Diving

A few years ago I had a shop two doors down from a NASCAR engine builder and made it a point to hit the dumpster early every Saturday morning-got lots of developmental stuff, raw material, fasteners, etc.

    Compressor drain catch bucket

Boomer, I have since mounted the compressor (a 60 gal upright) on 55 Chevy motor mount biscuits and it leaves enough room under the drain valve with the lanyard for a round pan I picked up at the local bargain resale store. If you drain it with 15 PSI or so in it, it works better than trying it...

homemade caster kit for BendPak 9XW

No problems with BendPak, but decided to fab my own caster kit to move my HD9-XW around. I used 1X2 tubing instead of the flat bar they use, some phenolic wheeled Colson casters rated at 700 lbs each and a little 3/16 plate. They work fine and ended up costing about $200.

Here's a pegboard cabinet that has about 22 sq ft of storage in a 7 sq ft footprint. It's in the "pegboard storage" section of Plans Now (online)

    Compressor drain catch bucket

Don't know if this will help, but NAPA has an air valve used for big truck air tanks that has a 4' lanyard attached - it does blow straight down though.

    Hockey Pucks on Compressor

I used 55 Chevy motor mount pads and some large diameter washers) from NAPA. seems to work fine.

    BendPak HD9-XW cable adjustment

I got my HD9 set up and working but when I got to step 14 (Lift start up / final adjustments) I hit a little snag - I had all the cable adjustments set at 1" of threads showing and then started to do the final adjustment - the instructions state to "adjust each cable nut so that each safety lock...

    Nut & Bolt Storage

Re: Nut & Bolt Storage I have some software that I use for lots of filing stuff that also works pretty well for the various bins, etc. I use for my aircraft and normal hardware, electrical stuff, etc. - it's called "Paper Tiger" and can be changed on the run if you want to move stuff around...

    bmwpower's garage build

I've got a Laser Engraver - if you want those trim rosettes made (and there's not too many of them), I can probably do them for you. Great Garage - lots of cool ideas.
