Not in the slightest. I run an SMF forum and have all kinds of smilies loaded, but that flashing thing does a number on my eyes (mainly when I am trying to type a new post or responding with quotes). :D
Ironic how? Yeah, I know it's annoying when new members have a complaint straight off but I figured it was an easy fix, and I had found another thread with people complaining about it before I got here. :rocker:
Well yeah, soon as I saw it. ;) Quick replies are no biggie but yeah noticed it kinda instantly. Actually had to cover it with another window (maybe I am just too sensitive to flashy stuff but I did find another thread complaining about long before I got here). ;)
Thanks for all the excellent info. I don't know when I can move to a single family home, but for now this is it. It's a very nice garage, but yeah maybe I'll have an electrician look at it. I just don't feel comfortable tackling it on my own.
Thanks again!
OMG I am not alone. It messes with my eyes too. Any way to move it to the MORE section so it's not drilling into our peripheral vision whilst responding to or creating posts?
I don't see how it adds anything, and I am a fan of most smilies.
Is there a way to disable it with Google Chrome?
When crafting posts that maniacal flashing smiley is terribly annoying and distracting. Does it really add to posts? Seems like it should be at least moved to the 'more' section so it's not there as a distraction when creating or responding to posts.
Thanks. Great site!
