    NEW Prototype BendPak RJ-45 Jack

I am sure this question would be obvious if I had one in front of me, but why can't the RJ-45 jack have a lower profile? Why not be flush with the ramp deck when collapsed? I assume it is due to the ~4" deck height, and the ramps could not get all the way down to the ground, as the RJ-45 must...

    NEW Prototype BendPak RJ-45 Jack

I like that a lot...and seeing as I am considering a 4 post lift with rolling bridge jacks...Bendpak was already the top of the list, but maybe this is the push to finally order. You guys going with just one rolling jack, or two? My only concern with two is the space/accessibility underneath...

Light Cans in the Garage Ceiling

I had 12 6" cans in a 2 car garage in my last house. It looked real cool. But it was not enough light to be a true working garage. Since you state that, then you might be OK with it. I ran the lights downt the "aisles" between the cars, not over them. Worked great to light up a 24x24 room...

    Tile deal!

I just wanted to give an update -- I have received a lot of private messages asking me about this, so I figured this thread must still be getting attention. I've had the floor for roughly 6 months now, and in general, no complaints. What everyone else is saying is true -- it should work great...

    Tile deal!

I got a ton of extra tile - -I was indecisive on color and wanted to try out a few things. I have enough left over to almost do anoother bay of a garage. But since I keep talking about blowing out the wall behind the 3rd car bay, and extending another 15 feet....well, maybe I have my floor...

    Tile deal!

My garage is pretty much a straight in and out garage, so no real turning for me at all on the tiles. Based on how the all interlock, I would not think you would have too much trouble turning on them, but I would bet they scratch/mar up pretty well if you start twisting the wheel if you are not...

    Tile deal!

When I was there in person, they said they were starting to run low on the silver tiles, but other than that they were OK for a bit. From a pure guess point of view from what I could see, they had several pallets (like 5-7 or more in some cases) of all the colors - I have no idea how fast they...

    Tile deal!

I used the edging pieces just on the sides for the garage doors where the cars drive in. Other than that, I used no edging pieces or corners. Just cut everything as even as I could, and I left a 1/2" gap on all sides and around the posts, etc. I figured if this floor wants to expand, I want...

    nvrlift's 3 car garage build

Thanks for the compliment! Oringally I was picturing the tiles as a deep dark true orange...but in fact they are much lighter....in person they look like an old vintage McLaren race car orange. Which is OK by me! :) I'd do the color combo again in the next garage (this is my second full...

    nvrlift's 3 car garage build

Well, I have been reading this board for awhile now...maybe 2 years or longer now...I have enjoyed everyone's stories and pictures and thought I would finally share some. I can't seem to find the pictures of when I started, but it was a bare three car attached garage in the suburbs, no drywall...

    Tile deal!

Well, I have wanted to try out a tile floor like this for some time, but the $3-$4 per square foot kept it on my list of things to do, versus getting on the list of things I have done. :) That changed last week with $1 per tile here. I live near Dynotile here in Washington, so I sent them an...

    Phantom Park Lift?

I saw this on the back of a magazine the other day and was just thinking about it so tracked it down on the internet... http://www.aclifts.com/parking/pss-7.asp Anyone know more about it? Cost? I can see a few areas where it would make sense, but I am thinking it has to be somewhat cost...
