    Free Standing 2-post lift?

That's a good one. I know what you're saying, if they made the base the length of the car then it might be ok to use without bolting it to the floor. I may try Steve's (skamp) idea and see if post section happens to be running accross where I would want to mount the lift.

    Free Standing 2-post lift?

I guess I was hoping someone manufactured a 2-post with a base of some sort that would allow it to be free standing. If there is one, I can't find it. Thanks for the suggestions though!

    Free Standing 2-post lift?

Does anyone make a split rack, 2 post lift that doesn't have to be attached to the slab? I have a post tension foundation. I would like to have something like this, but it would need to be free-standing..

If you do get a shop vac, I would go with the wall-mounted Hoover GUV (Garage Utility Vac). It kind of reminds me of a miniature version of the big cylindrical vacumes you see at a self-serve car wash. It was really the only option in a small space like mine. Wish I had a pic!

    Need your help

Personally, I would do a quality DIY epoxy kit before I would try staining/sealing myself. Most of the stain and seal jobs I have seen get damaged easily by "hot tire pickup". Not to mention that the clear coat scratches easily. I am no expert though and I am sure it all depends on the...

For sure, that is why I am going with close to the same paint scheme. Mounting an extra florescent unit above my workbench though. When you finish the floors it might make it slightly brighter in there. I noticed when I did my racedeck floor, even though they are black and white checker...

I thought about that myself, but it looks to me that overall it is brighter than where he started with the bare drywall.

I bought a small tool shed for my lawn equipment and put it in the back yard. Besides cluttering up my small space, it made the garage dirty all the time. Cost me about 200 bucks and was worth every cent. Cool space!

    Cleaning Racedeck

Oil can definitely leak through. The tiles fit tightly together, but liquid leaks through mine. Also, as far as cleaning tough stains. I am a fan of the lacquer thinner. Doesn't seem to hurt the tiles one bit.
