    When installing wire mesh for concrete?

    The most common fault that I see in the use of wire mesh is not getting it inside the concrete somewhere close to the center of the depth. It does little good when it is bearly within the bottom of the pour.

    A good way to use the concrete if you are unsure of the quality or amout left over in the drum is to set your forms and use the leftovers as a base leaving at least an inch to cap later.     what would you do steel or stick built

    Steel is quick reasonable in cost and flexible. Instead of conduit we run a flexible aluminum cladded wire. Meets the code here and saves a lot in initial cost and labor.

    Dimmer question....

    Ah, so that's it. Now how about if the switch is 100% off during 1/3 of the day (Eastern Daylight Savings) but on for 2 hours using a florescent bulb 90 feet from the source assuming 14-3 wiring?
