    Electric Heat in 2 Car Garage

    dre271 I also live in MD and picked up the Fahrenheit 5000 watt unit off of Craig’s List for $100. I used 12/3 wire to install to a 30amp 2 pole breaker in the electrical box. I have a 2 car garage wit ha small 8X11 room off of the back and the heater works well. You will like it a lot.

    I have one over my workbench in the garage, an 8X11 area, and it does take te edge off of the cold. It does nothing for the main part of the garage where the 2 cars are parked.
