Help wiring a dual compressor condensing unit.

bonneyman, Assuming I did it correctly, you helped me figure it out. While the manual was confusing, looking more closely at the wiring in the condenser it appears the two compressors are already wired to run in tandem. It appears all i needed to do was connect the Y1 and Y2 (from t-stat and...

Help wiring a dual compressor condensing unit.

Condenser is a Rheem RASL-048JEC Air Handler is a Rheem RHPNHM4824JC Thank You! The manual makes it seem pretty straightforward to rewire the air-handler for a conventional t-stat. I've already run new wire from t-stat to air handler (replaced 18/4 with 18/7).The air handler connection points...

    Diamabrush life/sf coverage?

For such a large area why wouldn't you simply use the large Diamabrush that attaches to a Floor cleaner? It will take a lot less time. Plus, you can rent them from most Home Depot stores.

Help wiring a dual compressor condensing unit.

If there are any A/C experts here, I am in need of some help. I have a Rheem RASL-048JEC condensing unit which has two compressors. Each compressor is controlled by its own board and each board has a Y1 and Y2 connection point. I know the Y1 and Y2 from inside house needs to go to the Y1 and Y2...

Looking for a small amount (1qt) of clear urethane topcoat

My garage floor has been done for a few months but I have a small section (approx. 30 square feet) that has yet to be done. I have enough epoxy left to do the color coat but still need some clear urethane for topcoat. I have been unable to find any retailer that sells it in sizes less than 1...

Dimabrush Q - Prep Tool or Removal Tool?

Ideally, you would want to use both Diamabrush tools. Start with the Coating Removal tool and once the coatings are gone switch to the Concrete Prep tool. However, in my opinion you could safely get away with just using the Coating Removal tool. Time how long it takes to fully remove the...

    Epoxy-Coat with SharkGrip WITHOUT clear

If you have a Sherwin Williams locally I would recommend Rexthane. It is a clear aliphatic urethane. I paid $101 for a gallon from a local SW store that stocks it. It can cover up to 537 square feet per gallon at its thinnest recommended coating. I used it on top of my Epoxy-Coat color and am...

Epoxy Coat bubbles, What the hell!?

I used Legacy's two part epoxy primer. I looked at others too but got a great deal on this because I bought it from another GJ member who had it extra from his project. Regardless, it worked great. Nearly as important it was great practice for the money coat. It has a longer pot life but the...

    Epoxy-coat adventures

Benjamin Moore Has several options that will work. The Super Spec P35 has been used successfully as a primer with epoxy-coat by others on these forums. Also, Sherwin Williams Aquapon 35 has also been used successfully as a primer. Bear in mind that not all BM stores carry the Super Spec line so...

    Epoxy on spalled concrete?

You do not need to acid wash AND diamond grind. One or the other is done. However, diamond grinding is always better. And, considering the shape of the floor I would not even consider acid etching instead of grinding. Now, the steps: 1) degrease any areas that have had oil, fuel and or other...

Not happy with flake job, sand and re-coat?

I don't think it should be too bad. I just did something similar this morning. I sanded the entire epoxy floor (which I just put down yesterday), vacuumed, and wiped with denatured alcohol prior to putting down my clear topcoat. Not fun but, if you use a pole sander it is not too bad. I was done...

Not happy with flake job, sand and re-coat?

Instead of having to put another coat of epoxy down, I wonder if it is possible to put a coat of clear down, then flake some more to even it out. Then top those flakes off with a recoat of clear later. Of course, if adding more flakes to "even it out" is not possible because it looks that bad...
