I was watching it a couple of months ago, it was around $7.50 for 7/16". Last month, it came down into the low $6, and I bought 45 sheets to do the walls in my shop. Of course, that would mean that now it's gotta be down another buck or so!!! Pics? Check out my build thread in my sig line...

Ryan, to be honest, I can't give you an exact number. I've (purposefully) not added up all my reciepts. My budget was originally 40k, and I fully expected to run over by about 5k. I'm pretty sure I'm a little over that now, most likely right around 50k, but I wouldn't think over that.

The soffit vents are covered with wire mesh to keep the critters out. As far as finishing the drive, I'll worry about that after final inspection is passed... I'll see about getting some new shots of upstairs, it's not done, but certainly farther along than my pictures show. I've started...

Before hanging the lid and walls, and with insulation and studs showing, I had two of these fixtures hung temporarily. It certainly wasn't bright, and the corners were dark, but it was plenty of light for hanging out and you didn't have to squint or wear shades. Now that the walls and ceiling...

So, if I read it right, the smallest amount of lighting you can turn on at one time is something like 15 fixtures? I do think that is overkill. You will love how bright your shop is with all that firepower turned on, but if you still can, I would add another circuit for "mood lighting". Just...

So far, so good on the floor. I am still being pretty careful about dragging or dropping anything on it. I have a high dollar epoxy floor at work, solid color, no chips or clear. This is rougher textured and has much better traction to walk on with wet shoes, but it also doesn't sweep clean...

Ok, time for another overdue update... After getting the floor done, it was time to start finishing the rest of the interior. I hired a drywall company to hang, tape and texture the bathroom, the stairway and the entire upstairs. In the main shop, I had them hang and smooth finish the lid...

And, if you don't mind my asking, are those.... ....OUTLETS built into the backsplash of your workbench?
