It is no fun to stand them back up and attempt to shake tools down enought to close the drawers. Can't always secure boxes to anything. 30 years ago, i was at work with my toolbox behind the alignment machine. Another tech started a vehicle on the alignment rack that was in gear. Came off...
I have 2 of these boxes. They work very well as a travel box in a vehicle, The one you have is an early model with only the lock to keep it closed. The later models included a flip latch on the front.
Plus using the wrong size crimp sleeves. i was taught that the cable should just fit into the sleeve with no extra space. It looks like he is using 1/16 cable in 1/8 sleeves.
I have the same Mastercraft screwdriver and mine is getting to the end of it's life as well. A little while ago, I found an Ikea one for putting furniture together. About the same size and power.
Years ago when I worked school building maintanence, all of the schools had outside taps like that to prevent the kids from randomly turning the taps on and leaving them on.
Value also depends on location. Where I live, used Snap On toolbox's like that go for between $1000 and $1500 emply. I don't have a value for the tools.
Thank you Ryan, for creating the woodworking section. I probably won't be posting in it but I can appreciate good project. As a teenager, my summer job in high school, I got to work with some individuals who could do amazing work.
