I'm going to Racedeck THE WORLD!

I also like the free flow tiles. But wonder, does the edging act as a dam so that the water doesn't flow out the garage door?

Finally got my Epoxy floor in!

NICE. I like the heavy flake that you put down. How much flake did you use ?

    Another racedeck question

I am a procrastinator, particularly because I can't make up my mind and because I tend to be lazy. I want the perfect floor. Easy to install, never needs to be cleaned, and always looks brand new. I am also a realist and know that floor won't be available until after I put something other down...

Were you born in a barn?

I stumbled upon this thread today. It is fantastic. Please keep adding pictures. I am jealous of people that have the ideas and ability to accomplish those ideas. It appears to me that you have a short attention span. One long enough to finish a project. But short enough that you want to...

    Painting unfinished drywall?

NDNboy, only you know your finance situation, Here comes the "but". You said that the additional cost to "finish" would be $1000. I say, have the builder, finish, and texturize. Then it is done! Yes it is $1k, but you are going to spend good money on a very nice floor, why not have the...

Old warehouse rebuild to workshop in Portugal

Jorge, great thread. I stumbled upon your rebuild, read the first two pages, skipped to the last page. Then read backwards, to the beginning. Why, I'm not sure, but it's the way I did it. Your garage rebuild is a tribute to your dedication to your passion. Your automobiles. Great build...

I'm hoping to find a non slip coating

Musicinabottle: thanks for your referral of ""slip dr". I talked to them and their recommendation was to etch the surface. To put their etch on, and to not leave it on for more than 20 minutes. Then rinse it off with water. DONE! Very simple and easy. I like easy. The cost to do a 100'...

I'm hoping to find a non slip coating

My 86 yr old aunt finally agrees with me. Her front porch and steps are very slippery. They are a concrete surface that is polished and the front / riser face is brick. She has mentioned an outdoor carpet. I'm not convinced that carpet is a good idea. What do you recommend? I can get...

    Will this work?

Thanks for all of the replys. The slab is about 14' x 60' with saw cuts about every 10'. I'm wanting the pergola for shade. Eventually putting a roof on it be a carport for a motorhome. I haven't seen any movement sense I purchased the place and the previous owner "claims" that it didn't...

    Will this work?

Oldironfarmer, I'll post a picture next week when I get home from a family ski trip. I failed to mention, the slab is on what I believe is the dirt from digging the basement. The only saving maybe that there is additional cement work on the outside slope to help hold it in place.

    Will this work?

The house that we purchased a year ago has a concrete pad on the side of the house. I'm guessing it was professionally done, from the finish and the saw cuts. The concrete against the house is fine. But the slabs on the outside of the cut have moved about an inch or a little more. My...
