The current plan is to scrap the existing roofing material and the wrought iron truss system to be replaced with a new wood support structure and new metal roofing. I've now found a few patio roofing companies that stock the W-pan. Hopefully that will solve my problems.

Reviving the thread. Got a quote today for $14k to redo the roof on this tiny carport. Am I insane to think this should be a $5k job max?

The GC working across the street seemed to think he knew what it was and even said there was a place just outside Atlanta that manufactures it. Looks like I might have to give him a call.

Can anyone help me identify what roofing material this is? I had a GC working in the neighborhood tell me it was called "standing v groove" but I haven't been able to find anything about that online. In case it isnt clear from the pictures, the roof of the carport appears to be an aluminum...
