I recently bought one of these for jockeying my trailers around - 18' open car trailer, 20' enclosed trailer, and my MasterCraft X-25. It's much easier indoors than trying to maneuver tightly with a Crew-Cab Standard Bed pickup truck. They state up to a 6% grade and are also good for grass and...
I have a steel roof on my dock - a single layer with nothing underneath it. I still get condensation on the underside of it despite having no walls or anything else besides trusses under the roof. Granted, there is a LOT of moisture underneath it, but still... it couldn't be more ventilated.
There are a lot of ways to display 1/64 cars. You mentioned displaying carded cars. I am assuming you have loose ones too. How many are we talking about? I have about 750 of them on the wall leading up to our bar. I tend to open everything, so this suits me, but there are MANY ways to do...
I had a Bendpack switch stick on while working at a dealership. Granted, they get used a lot, but it was NOT on an inexpensive lift. I had ZERO clue where the breaker for my lift was, but the top limit switch did work in this situation.
I'm looking at putting 2 - or possibly 4 - of these in my shop. I'm 40x60x16. I will wire for 4, but install 2 catty-corner and see how it is, then add the other 2 if I feel that they are needed.

I seem to use mine all the time. I have them lying on the floor near the lift so I can get to them quickly. I must be moving my lift a lot more often than most of you guys do. It depends on whether I'm using the lift or moving a trailer out of the garage. I still have some organizing to do...
This did occur to me - but I was hoping to avoid climbing into the attic and wading through the insulation to affix the 2x6s.
My ribs run front-to-back and trusses side-to-side (of course), so missing the ribs is easy.
I have a stick-built garage with 40' trusses 24" OC. I want to hang a couple of ceiling fans ~32 lbs each. The ceiling is covered in ribbed sheet metal with blown-in insulation on top of that. Can I attach directly to a truss (screw box thru sheet metal into truss), or should I tie 2 trusses...
