Am I allowed to run two 12/2 Romex through a 3/8 NM clamp into a box?

"IF" the clamp is rated for two 12-2 you can do it.…….. CHECK the listing!!!!
About 35 years ago I ran into "King ****" (rogue electrical inspector) and he failed me for two 12-2’s in a Romex fitting…….. I found out that the only 3/8” fitting (at the time) that was rated for 12-2’s was manufactured by Thomas and Betts and the Arlington ones I used were not listed so I failed the inspection.

BTW! I have inspected and approved thousands of 3/8” Romex connectors over the years with two 12-2’s and never asked to see the listings of the connector.

The Arlington 841 can do many combos, but these two are the largest NM combos in 1/2" ko size:
1-12/2 & 1-10/2,
3-14/2s.
Neither of which I would feel comfortable with.
