Prusa is a better printer out of the box. The creality can get there, but you are probably going to have to fiddle and tweak more.
Not to say you won't have to fiddle and tweak on a prusa. And not to say the creality is always going to be bad out of the box.

Mine have the plastic level type quick release. I think either tool could do this if you squeezed them way too hard with a terminal that didn't fit very well with the die. There are a lot of different manufacturers of terminals of varying quality and consistency. I would try one and see how well...
All the non weatherpack crimps here were done with the Tool Aid. I like mine. I've done a couple hundred crimps with it and the results have been good.
