In for one. I have seen people rant about the quality of Wera hand tools, so this will be my first impression.

That's a heckuva deal. If I didn't already have two Vessel #1 Philips drivers, I'd be all over it.

However, as nice as I think a hex bolster can be, I think it is pointless on a P1.

Was thinking the same thing. Would have gotten it if it was a PH2 or 3

There's a company, MicroTools, on Amazon who is clearing out a lot of other Wera screwdrivers. Mostly Torx and slotted, but still, prices around $4.

Any chance you have a link? I wouldn't mind picking up a few Wera drivers.

Look for the lower priced drivers, especially in the Wera Kraftform Plus 367 Series Torx, Wera Kraftform Comfort 1300 Series, Wera Kraftform Classic VDE 1760i, and Wera Kraftform Plus VDE Insulated sections. There's a lot of stuff at normal prices, but a bunch around $4-$5. Normal pricing is usually $6-$15. I didn't go crazy, especially on the Torx, but there were some security Torx which were worth picking up. There's an 11-piece Torx set of the 1300 series for like $44 if you want it, but that price isn't anything special.

Happy hunting1

I picked up one in the first post. I want to see what the wera is like. It should arrive today.

See if I think they are worth the investment.

I got mine a couple of days ago, first Wera driver I've ever handled. Now unfortunately I have to buy the whole set...

I got my set through Sears. On sale, plus points... made it very reasonable. Set comes with a PH1, so I had to hunt for a PH3 to complete my set, which I found as an add-on for <$8 at the time. Also came across a PH0 in their stainless steel line w/ laser tips to have all the sizes (they don't make a demo PH0, not a surprise)

How the heck are you guys getting this for $3.49? It comes up as $12 and change for me.

with amazon you snooze, you loose, you buy asap and use camelcamelcamel to check if that's the lowest price.

Their price goes down and then back up withing 1 to 2 purchases sometimes.

You only get them for that price if you buy over either $25 or $50 from that seller otherwise the shipping is ridiculous

I ended up buying a bunch of stuff from MicroTools. I needed tamperproof drivers (not insert bits, they're too big for a lot of spots), and at $4/each, I'm now all set. Half are the hard black plastic ESD handles, but whatever, still a good shape and excellent price.
