Drain clogged with hard white chunks

Yes, the powder type for the laundry booster. Also noticed it, to a lesser extent, in the dishwasher filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. That was with the powdered dishwasher soap. The pods seem to do it also.

Drain clogged with hard white chunks

I had this happen at my old house. Hard white deposits that would turn to chunks when I hit them with a screwdriver. I finally figured out my issue. It was Oxyclean that the wife was using in the laundry. Fixed the clog and stopped using Oxyclean.

    KATool tire changer and balancer

I know someone on here has to have bought one of these combos and be using it. I didn't see anything about KATool in the search. A bit of talk about the Mayflower brand, but not KATool. I wanted to pull the trigger on this. I would love to hear from anyone that has experience with those...

4 year old shingle roof bubbling

The plywood sheathing had very few areas replaced. The House is 24 years old. There is plastic ridge venting. The problem is the entire roof is a hip roof so the actual ridge is only 25 feet wide for 2600 ft. Vented soffit runs the entire house including 2 gables. The roofing company is a...

4 year old shingle roof bubbling

Four years ago my house and garage were rebooted. This was about one year before I purchased. It was a complete tear off. Full length ridge vents were added and the house has fully vented soffits. I am in central Florida. In the winter, the roof is flat. But come summer time, the temps rise...

Temporary place to put my garage stuff while I seal it?

You could order up a big PODS container in your driveway and load everything up into it. That would get it done all at once. I have your same dilemma. So far the only thing I have come up with is to do half at a time.

    Any Residential Home A/C Guys

I have a 4 ton unit located on my unconditioned garage. It would leak and sweat. I discovered that the original installer pitched the drain the wrong way, causing the pan to fill to the brim before draining. I repitched it correctly and it fixed 95% of the sweating. The internal insulation In...

Senville Leto 24K BTU Install--Line Set Issues (the saga continues)

Where did you end up purchasing the tubing and how much was it? I have noticed a lot of AC places really mark up the linesets when they offer the AC unit at a good price. Thanks

Senville Leto 24K BTU Install--Line Set Issues (the saga continues)

I have purchased and installed two senville leto 12K BTU units with the standard line set that comes with it. Both were non corrugated. Having the corrugations kind of destroys any ability to shorten it. I hope they send you the proper smooth line set.

Anyone using the AM-GO 9K two post lift?

There's a happy ending to this thread. I ended up going with an extra wide Tuxedo tp-11kc 11000 lb lift. Lowe's had it on sale plus 24 months and zero percent financing. I brought it home on a flatbed car hauler. Used 3 people, a furniture dolly, 2 floor jacks, lots of 2x4s and some jack stands...

Anyone have a hybrid water heater?

I installed the Rheem 65 gallon about 2 months ago in central Florida. Old 50 gallon straight electric used about 10 kw a day. New Rheem uses 1.8-2.5 kw a day. Cools down the garage slightly. Home Depot had it on sale at 23% off, so around 1700. Expensive, but it is paying for itself and I have...
