Still don’t know what the white chunks are but the dog got to the bucket and ate some…a lot

Doggie is still alive and pooping and eating 😂

Teenage boy who likes to take "long showers" in the house?

J/K. Actually I bet its detergent. Somewhat related to this, I just finished getting a new septic bed installed this week and the owner of the company told me the dangers of Tide. He specified Tide detergent. Said it will plug lines really bad from "the phosphorous" in the soap. He said, our lines were very clean when he scoped them, asked what we use. We use Persil powder from Germany and never have issues with our washer smelling or other problems..

I had this happen at my old house. Hard white deposits that would turn to chunks when I hit them with a screwdriver. I finally figured out my issue.

It was Oxyclean that the wife was using in the laundry. Fixed the clog and stopped using Oxyclean.

Powder?

Wife has recently discovered / changed to All liquid detergent with added Oxyclean. But as a liquid, I’m hoping that won’t mean I have a future date with a drain snake. Pipes run under the basement floor, so cutting out a section would be unpleasant.

I think I've identified the common issue here, you guys are actually washing things. Just stop that.... I mean, do you really need clean clothes and dishes and bodies?

Yes, the powder type for the laundry booster.

Also noticed it, to a lesser extent, in the dishwasher filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. That was with the powdered dishwasher soap. The pods seem to do it also.
