    Quickjack setup and question

Hi all, I recently picked up a Quickjack 5000 from a local, plan to use it with my track/autox Miata. I've used it a couple times now to test it and it works great. To make it even more useful and fast I'd love to be able to keep it on the floor and just drive over and leave it under the car...

    My little garage refresh.

Yep, Oregon guy here. Great roads to drive around here but need less rain right?

    My little garage refresh.

Thanks guys, it feels very organized now. Neighbors probably think I'm a little off seeing how often i sweep the garage now. 8O Now that I have a clean area to fiddle it's time to get a little deeper on the autox car. I'm thinking flares, 15x9,10,?, LSD, coilover perches for the Konis. Yeah.

This is my toy/autox/DE car. The one I actually do work on. 1990 Miata with some good bits on it.

    My little garage refresh.

I posted a couple of photos in the floor section but I wanted to share a couple photos of my progress. This has been a resource for ideas and my thanks goes out to you peeps. This was just a quick vid of the before. The floor covering, (after going around in circles) is H&C solvent based...

Right, acrylic coating, probably to fool unknowing folk like me. It was quite fumey while applying but so far no tire issues and my little Miata has dripped a little oil and what may be coolant. Wiped right up hopefully it lasts for a while.

Well here's an update with some pics of the floor done and the walls patched and painted. Went with a 12 inch floor color grey on the walls and white painted cabinets.

Wow, first thread and I may have helped someone already. If you're looking for an even more concrete color, I'd probably go with their more taupe colors.

Doing my first floor, getting started and question.

Here's after second coat which I applied heavier than the first. I like the way it layed and came out but the variations in concrete do still show. It's mainly the areas that were etched/porous more that still show through. I guess I shouldn't expect the look of epoxy with a stain. I do like the...

Doing my first floor, getting started and question.

Here's application of H&C's "Muddy Gray". It's thicker than I thought it would be, I did a pretty light 1st coat and it IS pretty smelly stuff. I did use a respirator. With the light first coat, the variations of concrete texture show up a lot. I'm hoping the second coat will hide that more...

Doing my first floor, getting started and question.

Hey all, Well yesterday I etched again but using the etching solution at full strength. Here's the results. Definitely mote "etched". The color we are leaning towards is similar to some others I've seen on here. H&C "muddy grey" for the floor, then, matching grey halfway up the wall, 6inch...
